I read many reviews before buying and finally chose this heater. Since this is for a turtle and its tank is only partially filled, I needed one that could be placed horizontally. And one with reasonable temperature settings as she never seemed happy and could move other heaters away from the glass and put it on top. This one allows me to keep my tank at 30C for them. A thermometer tape was included and I also had a thermometer fridge magnet that I could attach to the glass by pressing it into the bottom frame. Both read 84! She's happy, so I'm happy. Also, good careful packaging and timely delivery is always important!
