Review on 🔧 GEARWRENCH 21 Piece 3/8" Drive 6 Point Pass-Thru Tool Set, SAE and Metric - Model 8921 by Kyle Merriman

I used to think these GearRatchets were a publicity stunt, but now I'm convinced. After years of loosening with standard tools, I finally stumbled upon a screw that I couldn't unscrew with my many "custom" curved wrenches and short bits. This was the frontmost Ford 460 exhaust manifold bolt in the E350; not much space. I tried for a few hours, then finally got to Revain and looked around for tools. After getting the GearRatchet, I went and tried it out. I unscrewed the screw in 2 minutes. This socket set is much thinner than the standard socket and ratchet combination. The head of the ratchet rotates for better positioning. The bushing's pass-through feature allows the pins to pass through the bushing, allowing the ratchet to be closer to the latch. Torque is used to loosen the bolt, not round it. The heads have 6 points, which also helps prevent rounding of the screw head. The handle is 3/8" longer than a standard ratchet, so you can tighten a stuck fastener with more torque. If you're concerned that it's a special item, an adapter is included so you can use any 3/8-inch -Able to attach drive head to ratchet but no through system.Overall I highly recommend this toolbox.Too bad I bought it a long time ago.
