Love the open front design with a cover. So it's much easier to put your hand in if the seat doesn't bother you. I always add some silicone to cover the four metal screw heads that rust over time. I also write the replacement date and model number under one of the screw caps. Never use a scouring pad on the seat. This will damage the painted surface. I've never had a failure, but if it did, the manufacturer would surely replace it. The seat stays in place and doesn't wobble. There are no problems with the breakage of the lower bumper of the seats. They are very durable. I've had constant issues with bolt caps popping out, but the manufacturer replaced the saddle for me. After that I had no problems. You may find a good deal on this seat by examining the model number and/or description. Blessings, John 20:29.
