Not what I expected but works well.
OK. Not what I expected. Although the sharpening rod would be made of metal, it is made of plastic. It works, but you have to be gentle with it. You must hold a pencil. I have bought others where the sharpener keeps it for you. This makes it easier to rotate the rod.
