We've had Atwood and Suburban tankless water heaters and non-tankless water heaters. Our last tankless water heater was a 50,000 BTU that produced hot water but was flow sensitive. With this Furrion water heater, everything else seems like a gimmick. It really does feel like a home made hot water shower. I wish we had had this a year ago. At our current campsite, the inflow water is around 50 degrees, while the Furrion outflow stays fairly constant at 117-120 degrees. Some things aren't mentioned in the ad, but prepare to install: you'll need to install a frame in your opening. I used a 2x4 punch rod to insert the box into the 10 gallon hole and a piece of 2x12 die cast trim to mount the heater. Make a 16" 2x4 square on the outside dimensions and the water heater will slide perfectly. You will need about 6 feet of butyl rubber tape to seal the water heater to your new frame. It is not included. You will need a blue wire spool for the control panel, which is 18 gauge sufficient, and appropriate nuts. The control panel has short wires. Also if you mount it below you will need the blue wire. The length of the reel will depend on your RV but it took me 25ft to get two 12ft wires up to the bathroom.Polarity doesn't matter both wires are blue. After some argument I decided to install a controller in the bathroom so I can control it or get a warning sound before it cools down in case something goes wrong while I am in the shower.
