Review on SMArt UPS Replacement Cable AP9827 by Johnny Black

Works great with my APC Back-UPS es500. Windows recognizes it without any additional drivers or software. In my opinion, this makes the old application models better than the new ones that require the Powerchute package. This is a 10-pin RJ-50 cable, not an 8-pin RJ-45 cable. There are cheaper RJ-45 cables that don't really work with APC, but this one will.
