Review on Irwin Tools 4935586 Multi Tool Screwdriver by Jason Wesley

I have an Irwin 9-in-1 screwdriver that I bought locally and I love it. Expecting the same quality and feel, I ordered this short 8 in 1. Not even close. The handle is huge in diameter, at least compared to a single-bladed screwdriver, which is good for torque but not so good in tight spaces. It's like catching a ball with a baseball glove. Second, and most importantly, I bought it because I thought it would be nice to have a few parts on me, and it is, but getting to grips with them is a separate task. The lid doesn't hold like opening a jar, there are just a few notches in the lid to twist it out with your fingers and even better, pliers. The lid also tends to have transverse threads. I have been working with my hands for 40 years and this thing is a disappointment in the blister pack. Can't wait for it to get lost or stolen.
