Useful but comfortable - length measurement

I have made weight charts and they have worked great for this purpose. However, the ruler itself is fairly smooth, allowing it to glide across the paper more than I would have liked. I had to put my hand all the way down on the ruler to make sure it didn't move as I made marks on the page. Overall it's pretty good quality and I like that the numbers are laser engraved so I don't have to worry about them rubbing off.

Pros

quality. Precision machined from 6063 anodized hardened aircraft grade aluminum with computer laser engraved graduations making the ASR012 a great choice for the price.
