DURABLE. Made of 100% extruded aluminum alloy with a solid core and laser etched gradations, this architect’s rule will stand up to years of use. Laser etched gradations. All six sides feature two different scales that are accurate, straight and marked legibly. Industry standard. Features all of the common scales: 16, 3, 1 1/2, 1, 3/4, 1/2, 3/8, 1/4, 1/16, 1/8, and 3/32. Useful. The legend references are clearly marked on each side, making this the ideal rule for architects, engineers, draftsmen and students. Quality. Precision Tool for Accurate Measurements

This dimensional measurement device is a must-have in the Industrial and Scientific field .The laser etched rulers provide accurate measurements, making it ideal for architectural designs. the build quality is top-notch and it is easy to use. However, it may not be as versatile as other measurement tools. Overall, a great investment for any professional looking for precise measurements..

Useful but comfortable - length measurement

I have made weight charts and they have worked great for this purpose. However, the ruler itself is fairly smooth, allowing it to glide across the paper more than I would have liked. I had to put my hand all the way down on the ruler to make sure it didn't move as I made marks on the page. Overall it's pretty good quality and I like that the numbers are laser engraved so I don't have to worry about them rubbing off.
