Great lift kit to learn installation methods

This is an excellent lift kit that has everything you need to jack up your Jeep Wrangler TJ. Make sure you go online and check out a few different videos and guides, that's all there is to it. A few notes: 1. Be sure to loosen the gas line hose, otherwise it will tear. This is especially problematic the higher you jack the car up to get shims where people make it too high just to help put the shim over the rear axle. When loosening the opposite side, don't do more than 2 full turns or your bindings may slip off.3. Bumpers on the front bumper are impossible if you get it wrong and easy if you get it right. Make sure you remove the headlights and install them with each side of the Jeep up and not at the end like the instructions say. Just use pliers (vise) to get through the hole in the headlight and you can put it in place.4. Wipe down the mounting points with a wire brush and some Chassis Saver so you don't regret it later. This is one of the first places the Wrangler.5 will rust. Loosening the old bolts is the hardest part of the job. One is cut off, one is rusted and one of the heads is off. 11. Make sure you can spin them all a day or two early by using a PB Blaster or Kroil, whichever is better. 6. Shifter drop is a problem if you have a skid plate. Prepare for a typically 30-minute job that will last for several hours while your hands go numb and your knuckles bleed. Buy a smaller needle vise as a third hand. This is the best lift kit out there and 1-1/4 is a great height that doesn't look silly but will allow you to lift your stomach in the future.
