Review on 🧦 Moderate Compression Quarter Socks by Sockwell for Men - Incline by Sean Flint

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Also great for women with wide feet and high insteps!

Wow. After trying several pairs of pure polyester compression stockings from a local pharmacy and finding them to be ill fitting, uncomfortable and eventually painful, I didn't expect to like these socks. But I do! The fibers feel as comfortable as in cotton socks, only the moisture evaporates and the feet stay at the right temperature. The compression in them is a little light - just enough to give you a noticeable amount of arch and ankle support, but not so much that putting them on is like trying to stuff a pig in a zip-lock bag. If you also check out the Sockwell website they have a video showing the easiest way to put on a compression stocking and their method made the process easy. It was time to see if quality socks would help which is why I got tired of them as well as some of their Plantar Ease pairs. While they don't provide instant pain relief like Plantar Ease socks, I see myself slowly swapping out my regular socks for sloped ones. They would be good for plane travel and long car rides when my feet get a bit swollen, but the first day I put them on was quite an active day at work and at the end of the day my feet still felt great! So for me it was a great purchase. And as a sizing guide - I'm a plus size woman with wide feet, high instep and really muscular legs so I took a chance and ordered men's socks instead. women and thought they were a medium men's size (D) and not medium women's size (B) and I'm glad I did. (However, I ordered my usual shoe length anyway.) I think the women's size might have been too small for the width/height of my foot, but the men's version provided perfect compression without sacrificing circulation.

Pros
  • Great for me
