I have a dual shock mountain bike so this was a bit dodgy for me considering there isn't much swag out there for my type of wheel. But it got on my top bars and held onto the bars perfectly. The truth is that you can easily use your phone's touchscreen through the plastic screen, like I did. Backpack naturally spacious. The reviewer who said it would fit a gun is correct, but make sure it's a compact model. But wallets, keys, etc. fit in and have enough space. I live in the high plains so there is no way to test it in the rain but I have no doubt it will work.
