Good quality but difficult to install

I'll start by saying that I'm a tech savvy person. I've been in tech my whole life. When I tried to install it, I had problems. Took me about 30 minutes to install this. It will not install on your phone without a WiFi connection. It had trouble syncing with my phone to connect to the internet and I couldn't get around the software installation and I think that was the most frustrating part of it. I couldn't set this up as a standalone camera if I wanted to. You MUST be connected to wifi/hotspot to set this up and then watch the video. I have other cameras where it's really easy. I just get in the car and I can access the video or whatever. Not with that. I kept it but use it as my main camera. I will remove the card if I need to access the video. Another annoying thing is that the crash detection is too sensitive even if you turn off the sensitivity. Every time I hit a pothole (and there are many in the Northeast) it beeps and blocks the video. I need to disable this feature to use the camera properly. So I disabled the crash detection, disabled wifi access (because it doesn't sync with my phone for some reason) and ended up using it as the main camera without all the features. It's good quality and has a lot of features if you can get them to work, but it wasn't worth it for me and if I had known what I'm doing now I would never have bought it.
