Fit, sound and use --- Fit: P3 fits better in the ear. As a result, the weight load is better perceived by the ear itself. This simple matter of depth doesn't require immediate consideration of the aftermarket gels I need for AirPods and AirPods Pro. Sound: A little tricky at first, but there is control where I want it. Actual sound quality is pretty amazing, but that's because they're in-ear headphones. In my experience, the bass is amazing and even improves when Noise Cancellation (NC) is active, unlike the AirPod Pro where the sound quality is terrible when Noise Cancellation is active. Apple's equalizer algorithm isn't without merit and should get better over time, but not everyone processes audio the same way, and the P3 solves that problem with a controlled equalizer via the Soundcore app. Utility: Touch Control. Singles, doubles and hold 2s. Everything is set up and everything is fine. It's something I loved and hated about the AirPods 1 and 2. Touch controls were intuitive, as were quick ways to control volume, calls, and moreβa channel faucet. When I got my AirPod Pros, they removed touch controls, which is strange because touch controls are functionally better when using an in-ear device. The buttons on the stick more or less forced me to put the AirPod Pro back in my ear for fear it would fall out afterwards. The stability of the fit should encourage better touch control on the AirPods Pro, not remove it, and the P3 knows that. Overall: These P3s pack all the qualities I'd rather get from Apple in one product: earphone depth that translates into a better fit leads, touch controls and an adjustable EQ. Cons: Spatial audio support isn't explicitly listed, although this is likely a source issue and not a device issue. Communicating with other devices without the Soundcore app is questionable as trying to connect to a laptop seemed impossible so I gave up. Things like noise cancellation are bonuses. Apple's inter-device compatibility is really the only thing that sets it apart from the P3, which is a home accessory. The spatial sound and home environment that Apple products pair with is great _ at home _ --- but if you want wireless in-ear headphones that won't fall out because you're chewing gum or degrading sound quality with noise , suppression is active and costs half the price of a $200 AirPod Pro - get a P3 and get on with life.
