Pads in wrong place

I've been driving for years, bought these gloves for stuffing. Well, padding is the worst thing about them. The pads are almost exactly in the wrong places. The pad at the top of the hand makes the rodless grip very uncomfortable, and the pads at the base of the palm have a gap where the rod is held, making them useless for cushioning the median nerve at the wrist. want more? Velcro straps are great except there is no extra fabric to grab onto to get them out of your hands. On the plus side, they are true to size and have a terrycloth-style doily on the back. They appear to be well made and will probably hold up well - I'll never know because wearing no gloves at all is better than these. Next time I'll go to my local bike shop to try them on first. Two stars because maybe your driving style is different or you don't find them as uncomfortable as I do. They are well made and look good.
