Pearl Izumi Rock Riding Gloves

I have just replaced my worn Pearl Izumi riding gloves with a medium black Select glove. In general I like the length and fit. I personally found the density of the padding more comfortable than my previous pair which were too stiff. Long trips definitely reveal what works and what doesn't, at least for me. The Select glove keeps my hands numb well and is very comfortable to wear as you hardly feel it on your hands. Also, they don't prevent you from holding on to the handlebars or using theโ€ฆ

Made cheap. waste of money.

I've always been a fan of Pearl Izumi. My previous gloves have lasted for several years. They didn't even last a year before I got fed up with the cheap stitching and decided to replace them. After several rides, the stitching separated at the seam of the thumb. The seam on the finger soon came undone. I liked the easy-to-remove finger tabs, but they were marred by poor quality. In addition, the padding is superfluous. My hands hurt after riding because the heavy pads were pressing in the wrong

Comfortable ride for 100 miles of a century!

I like it very much now. I particularly like the reflective paint, which allows me to better signal my passengers and any vehicles behind me. Took her for a 25 mile test ride and then a 100 mile ride same weekend. They still feel comfortable after 100 miles of sweat (and rain) and run true to size (see size chart). Just a slight discomfort in the webbing between my fingers, but I've had this issue with every cycling glove so I'm pretty sure it has more to do with my hands than the gloves. Whenโ€ฆ

Pads in wrong place

I've been driving for years, bought these gloves for stuffing. Well, padding is the worst thing about them. The pads are almost exactly in the wrong places. The pad at the top of the hand makes the rodless grip very uncomfortable, and the pads at the base of the palm have a gap where the rod is held, making them useless for cushioning the median nerve at the wrist. want more? Velcro straps are great except there is no extra fabric to grab onto to get them out of your hands. On the plus sideโ€ฆ
