Better than old-fashioned hex bolts.
Have used these screws in furniture I have made. They're way better than old-fashioned hex bolts. None of them broke and the racquet held up quite well in the head with no damage. Although other torx screws are even better. The drive stays in them with less effort than the square head ones.
