My 9-YO N300 WiFi router stopped working so I bought a newer model with antennas. When I connected this new one to my cable and my computer, it had no output. LAN outlets connected to things like a desktop computer, security system, or other device with an Ethernet cable did not transmit a signal between the router and the device. I verified that the cables are working properly by plugging them directly between the modem and the computer and they worked fine, so the problem was isolated to the router. Netgear online help did not help. Their website says they offer phone support, but I couldn't even put my phone number in the space provided. The window prompts I clicked to contact customer service kept taking me back two pages, leaving me stuck in a loop without help. You shouldn't want to be contacted. Sad. That's when I decided to stop contacting Netgear and send it back to Revain the same day. Left it in the UPS outlet and got a 'square box' code picture from Revain for UPS to scan and know what to do with the modem neatly in a nice box with a power cord and a network cable was packed. UPS said they would pack it in a shipping carton and ship it, don't worry. At the moment my delay is extended by 6 days, plus I spent 2 hours with a non-working device and a 10 mile trip around the world. A trip to the UPS store. I liked my FIRST router and am hoping it was an isolated case of a failed device so I'm buying another one hoping the replacement will work. crossed fingers
