I'm a fan of old knit mops as I sued them for the first 60 years. But with increasing age, the physical act of hand wringing becomes more and more difficult. These self-ringing strip mops are simple, but the finish doesn't quite come close to that of a traditional rag mop. I find these mops to be a better choice for cleaning as much of the floor area as is comfortable. The pads here are some of the best I've tried for this. You get dirty and you need two, I understand it's a must. Luckily there are two of them. In fact, I'd be happy if they sent three or four, which would make me even better than this set. Anyhow, this is one of the best of its kind, what I will say is a good combination of cleaning performance and convenience.
