Unfortunately not for outdoor use
I bought it for our summer kitchen. They were bought thanks to Tupperware paraphernalia and good seal. When delivered, the containers had no lids and both valves were securely fastened. I was so happy to see that. When I snapped them onto the containers, the "spoon" side lid slammed shut, but the "shake" side didn't. On each of them. Yes. Clump pepper and salt for 24 hours. Buyer Warning. Unfortunately not suitable for outdoor use.
