I am very satisfied with these pencil sharpeners. I have used one of these pencil sharpeners on two pencils that were in dire need of sharpening and with only 5-6 turns of the pencil in the sharpener - I had very sharp points on my pencils. I would prefer all pencil sharpeners to have light colored caps rather than 3 of them being black. But that doesn't stop me from ordering them again. I'm glad the lids fit snugly, keeping the pencil shavings in the container until I'm ready to pour them out. Price, great pencil sharpener.
