I've made about 10 cables with it now. I think the problem is with the RJ45 connectors. I would say that on average I had a 50% success rate. Gold pins sometimes bend a little, and it often happens that they slide too far away from the cable, allowing the conductor to pass. The connectors also generally don't hold the cable well, so even if they work, they might not last very long. What really frustrates me is that I've already done each side twice and it still doesn't work. I'll buy better plugs and see if that helps. Otherwise I'll have to buy a new tool too, in which case I'll update this review. My advice for now, pay the extra money and get something that works well, the time you save later will be worth it :)
