Review on BOXI Front Hood Gas Charged Lift Support Strut Shock Spring Damper for BMW E36 M3 Convertible Coupe by Markus Calderon

In general, they appear to be quality products, but there are two main problems.1. The clips that attached the cylinder to the body struts did not snap into place. If there was lateral pressure, they would immediately slip off. Not sure if the thickness is wrong or if they were bent in transit. I ended up cleaning and using the clips from the old part. Not a big deal, but kind of a pain.2. On the passenger side pillar is a plastic bracket that attaches to the washer spray wand and the cable that goes into the hood. This bracket did not stick to the new frame. I had to change the mount and use some zip ties to keep it going. I've always worked with BMW and that's normal when buying parts.
