Great idea, if only it worked better. First, the laser beam is not visible in daylight, so it cannot be used in an open training field. Second, when screwed into the end of the handle, it doesn't stay in a straight line with the shaft, leading to erroneous swing readings. Third, the laser beam doesn't stay bright, so it has to be switched back to frequency. I cut off the end of the handle of an old racquet and glued a wooden wad to the shaft with epoxy. Then I drill a hole in the wooden cork and that keeps the laser in a straight line. Then I practice swinging the stick in the garage where it's dark enough to see the laser. Not as good as kicking a ball, but trains muscle memory. After using this device for a week, I downgraded my rating from two stars to one and suggested not buying it. The laser beam just doesn't burn. When singing, the lights go out 75% of the time so you can't see the swing. The idea is great, but the design sucks.
