Review on ๐Ÿง‘ Troy Lee Designs Raid Knee Guard - Black, Size Medium/Large by Logan Goozmer

Wrong size, wrong size table

I urgently needed new pads for my enduro racing and because of the good reviews I ordered them. I measured myself before ordering and chose the size I made based on the M/L size range. These knee pads slide well, but I've already noticed that they were larger in the knee area and tighter in the top and bottom cuffs. If I hadn't been in such a predicament I would have returned them immediately, but I was hoping they would serve me well in the race. I was wrong. These knee pads slide down my ankles almost immediately once I start riding. They would fit better if the velcro wasn't so loose. The velcro on the strap is only at the end and therefore does not allow you to tighten it any further than just laying it more or less on the adjacent velcro. I was able to get them to a stop after some maneuvering, but the knee areas were still unwieldy. I only rode them for two days and then tried to contact the seller to see if there were any return or exchange options and radio silence. I know I have ownership of these because I had to return them when I realized they weren't the best fit out of the box, but I would at least like to hear from the seller that a return is not an option and should be ignored. I ended up giving these knee pads to my boyfriend because I didn't need them and he needed a spare pair. He's currently riding POC, I think I'll have to change too.

Pros
  • That's awesome
Cons
  • So-so
