Heavy enough to do the job well. I read a number of reviews from other products that complained those others were not heavy enough for insulation, sound deadening, or blackout function. These accomplish all three. They aren't super-duper space-age carbon-reinforced SEAL team 6 equipment, just nice, fairly substantial curtains.They are just a bit wrinkly, but, then again, so am I. They come with the wall mounting hardware to support a pole, so no need to buy that extra. Each box comes with two panels. The dimensions they list are true, but remember, these have that large hanging hole at the top, so you cannot cover a window with the same combined left to right dimensions of the two included panels. My window was about 42 inches or so, so I got the panels of the same width for one panel, and it works fine. You want a little overlap on both sides anyhow, so they can cover side to side without stretching them.
