For a very long time I chose a mouse for comfortable work, I tried a bunch of models. I had special hopes for Mx Master 3, because it is so praised. I finally bought it and this is what I found out: - The shape for my hand (18 cm) turned out to be very uncomfortable. The fact is that for me the main button is often the wheel, and the index finger rests on it all the time (open the link in a new tab, drag the canvas in the graphics editor, scroll). And when the mouse is tilted sideways, the brush has to be tilted even more. - Heavy. For some, this may be a plus. For me, the load on the brush increased with small movements with the cursor. - Soft touch coating. It is very pleasant if you just touch it. But if the hand constantly rests on the mouse, it sweats more often on such a coating. The coating becomes sticky, traces appear on it. In general, ordinary plastic is much more pleasant. - Wheel. WHEEL. It's something incredible. I didn't even think it was possible to do it this way. Here it is necessary to tell in more detail. The wheel of this mouse is made to rotate freely. It is heavy and has good inertia. However, a computer (at least a Mac) does not support fully smooth scrolling. As a result, it turns out that when scrolling, the screen does not move quite smoothly, it twitches a little. That is, there is no special merit in such a solution. But there are many shortcomings. Often the index finger rests on the wheel. When the wheel turns with clicks, you can safely use the wheel as a button. The wheel, if it is not turned on purpose, is stable. Here, the wheel spins freely, so it will constantly spin a little under your finger. And all the screens become a little unstable, they kind of constantly swing back and forth. There is also a wheel scrolling mode with clicks. But with each click, the screen scrolls a slightly different distance, since each click is not a very accurate fixation of the free wheel. As a result, again, a feeling of instability of control, the screen seems to be slipping away from under the fingers.
