Review on GemRed Aluminium Digital Angle Finder by Troy Gerhardt

When I insert the battery, the LED only shows 888.8. Using the zero or power buttons does nothing. Put the battery back in, put the battery in the wrong way round, turn the ruler at an angle - nothing works. Also bought a new battery, thinking the one that came with it was dead. To no avail. I've had it for over 30 days so I can't go back through Revain. I just emailed the company and will update this review based on the results. Update March 16th: I received an email response from the company and they promised to replace the product. The black version is currently out of stock but will be available in a month. They offered to send the silver straight away but I decided to wait with the black because it turns up much better. I will update again when I get a replacement. I am currently increasing this rating to 2 stars. Update March 21st: To my surprise, I received an email from GEMRED saying they had arranged for a replacement to be shipped. Cute! But today I received it and they sent me the silver version instead of the black one. Good news: it works. Bad news: you can't see it. See attached picture. You understand why I said I'd wait for the black guy. The saga continues. I will contact them and see what happens next. Update: Well this started out as a one star review and I'm upgrading it to four stars now because I just heard from GemRed that they now stock the black version and will send me one. I gave up thinking they wouldn't honor my request for black. Once I receive it I will upgrade it to five stars. Amazing customer service.
