I've always been a fan of Rockport walkers and athletic shoes, but once you're hooked on Rockport, everything else feels wrong. I bought these penny loafers, the same ones I bought from Jarman Shoes 20 years ago. I was afraid they would look cheap and not like the original Bass penny loafers. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They are a perfect replica of the bass version, well made with the craftsmanship left over at the shoe store. But best of all, they still fit like Rockport shoes. I'm not entirely sure how fashionable dressy loafers are these days, but I don't care. They seem good to me, and they're so good I don't care what the fashion police might say. It's my feet that have to walk in it. You look really cool with a business suit. I think I'll leave her. But I remember that in years past they required a lot of maintenance, like waxing and polishing. Great shoes at any price but especially great at this price point. $20 cheaper than the Rockport website.
