I have to wear black shoes all day, every day. When cheaper shoes (another brand) came out I bought them instead of Rockports - they didn't even last a year. The Rockports are comfortable, and although the rubber outsole (good for snow and ice, btw) is very thick on the Rockport, it helps them last longer. Buying shoes online can be a nightmare these days. I bought 4 pairs, this one in 10.5 as per the listing on the same Amazon site and 3 in a size 11. I bought this in a 10.5 to replace my old 10.5 Rockports. This new one from Vietnam should be closer to 9.5, much smaller than the old 10.5 from India. small.

These are very good shoes but I have to return them. While the length seems perfect (at least from the pair I received - other reviewers seem to disagree), they are slim. They were too tight at the widest part of the foot (I ordered the D(M) which I usually wear with most shoes). Unfortunately I got them on sale and now I can't get a larger size for the same price so I'll probably look elsewhere. I appreciate the danger of buying clothes online.
