Soak all bolts a few days before this job and DO NOT heat bolts that are difficult to remove. Be sure to use plenty of lubricant (Superlube) to lubricate all bushings to avoid squeaking. The original (factory) bushings were soft and soft, I could see them flexing when standing on the frame horns with the engine out of the car. These bushings are strong and the car has an extra 1/8 inch clearance between body and frame compared to the old bushings, even the doors are better aligned. , 3 and 4 as the Impala did not come with factory floor bushings for positions 2, 3 and 4. Use anti-seize on the screws when reinstalling, helps a little! The ride quality is solid and the car feels more stable and responsive. Solid upgrade for the money. Check and retighten all case bushing bolts after 100 miles, repeat check until all bolts hold torque.
