When your filter arrives make sure that you add teflon tape to the inter-connection plastic threads that came from the factory-mine leaked after installation. I did not like the plastic threads on the machine head. If you are using pex or shark bite you will not have to worry about melting the threads. I melted the threads while making copper connections to the machine head. After Adam replaced the head, I used unions on both intake and outtake connections to avoid heat transfer to the plastic threads. Adam suggested that when you connect to the in and out plastic threads to use 10-15 wraps of teflon tape and apply plumbers putty directly to the threads. The installation is easy, but the plumbing takes special attention. Again, the customer support that I got from Adam was worth the purchase and I would buy again. All the components are quality and heavy construction except for the plastic threads.
