I saw this and thought it would be something cool. Some of my records have warped slightly over the years for no reason and when played you can hear the warping. It's a piece of metal that you put on top of your record when you want to play something. This will smooth out your recording and improve the sound. I went no further and am happy with the results. I also use this for my regular vinyl records so they don't get mixed up on the turntable. I love the sound of my records and don't want to digitize my stuff just to listen to it, so it gives me a level of reassurance knowing that skipping might not be that harmful. Ideal. Both records survived and that was enough for me. If you're looking for something to try on your albums, give this a try. It works with slightly warped albums and keeps straight albums in the tray.
