Bought these to laser engrave business cards or name tags. However, no matter how good the wood, the cards are very different compared to laser burning. There's no way to know in advance what settings to use for recording, so there's a hint and a bug at first. However, once appropriate settings are found for one piece, they are not repeated for other pieces. Each part reacts differently to the laser, making the failure rate extremely high. I just made 5 name tags and threw away 14 pieces of material that didn't burn properly. They're probably great for non-laser projects, but stay away if you're using a laser engraver. I have experience with laser engraving, I use a Neje 7W engraver.
