These items are NOT designed to easily replace the 100mA rechargeable batteries commonly used in inexpensive garden lights. They do NOT have a small button on the anode (+) end. However, with a bit of ingenuity and time, these 400mA batteries can be used by slightly bending or replugging the flat steel + garden light connector. The increased amperage available provides longer run times and slightly better lighting in the evening than the original batteries.
