Works great with Epson R280

This tray works great with my Epson R280. Simply set the printer tray to the CD position, slide in the ID tray until the arrows align, and then print using the standard A4 CD print settings. (Also select the Best Picture print in the settings.) You can print a card if you want, but you must have a PVC card in each slot. (The printer, although designed to print on CDs, will check the surface and won't print if the surface isn't correct. It will spit out the tray if two cards aren't loaded.) To print on cards, download a template showing where the image needs to be in order to align correctly with the position on the map. A simple search like "Epson R280 ID Template" will give you the results you want. The cards have excellent image quality comparable to thermal printers. BUT, the surface will be sticky while the ink is on the surface of the card. It will not smudge or wash off, but you will need to apply a clear coat to get a smooth finish and protect the image. Also note that you need "INK JET" PVC cards (30 mil). PVC cards designed for thermal printers cannot be printed on as they do not have a printable surface.
