Review on Enhanced Fluidmaster 8100 Flush 'n Sparkle Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaning System with Blue Cartridge by Pete Juarez

I bought these for 3 toilets in our new house and found I had to install them opposite the end of the tank due to the shape of the back of the toilet tanks where the inlet valve and the suction pipe was not long enough. I ended up finding that the 7/32" bore washer tubing sold at dealerships was ideal, but the extra 3/4" length that was supplied would have made this unnecessary. I also had to remove the flow restrictors from the fill valve outlets to ensure enough water was flowing through the cleaning systems to keep the toilets full. So it wasn't the easiest install, especially for those who don't understand plumbing. The bleach cartridges worked fairly well, but the smell tended to linger, making them almost useless. So we tried using blue cartridges instead (it should be noted that bleach and blue cartridges are interchangeable). But blue cartridges don't work like bleach and they just don't clean toilets. So the whole effort was a huge waste of time. Would not recommend except for use in locations where persistent bleach odor is not a problem.
