So I took out the lock and unwrapped it. The box is very high-quality processed and all details appear high-quality. I got it working as instructed in the instructions prior to installation and everything went fine. However, like most, our door has a longer groove for the hasp. And most striker bodies are lengthened with a screw or simply by twisting to make them longer. This item does not come with an extension cord. The bolt extends but not the entire mechanism itself. Therefore making it unusable for my door. So if you are purchasing this item I suggest you measure the distance it takes for the striker to enter your door. I was disappointed. but not with the topic. It really did appear to be a quality build. I am disappointed that the castle will not be expanded any more. Good luck, hope this helps.
