You would never know it's a smart lock!

This lock is incredibly chic and well designed. I love that I was able to make my deadbolt smart without advertising that it's a smart lock. Pros: - Incredibly clean and simple. No bulky components that fit on the knob. Installation took less than 15 minutes and was very easy. The placement of the battery in the breech is original. It is very easy to replace; Simply rotate it to the locked position and unscrew the end of the bolt. The Homekit integration is solid and can lock/unlock the door…

It doesn't have an extension cord that most doors require!

So I took out the lock and unwrapped it. The box is very high-quality processed and all details appear high-quality. I got it working as instructed in the instructions prior to installation and everything went fine. However, like most, our door has a longer groove for the hasp. And most striker bodies are lengthened with a screw or simply by twisting to make them longer. This item does not come with an extension cord. The bolt extends but not the entire mechanism itself. Therefore making it…

Only works in limited situations

My home has a separate perimeter security gate about 25 feet from the front door that requires a hike (often rain or snow) to pick the lock. I bought a deadbolt with a remote control so it can be activated from home. The problem with the dozens I've looked at is that they're only weatherproof on one side and can't be used in a freestanding setup. Level Lock looked like the only game in town that was completely weatherproof. When I looked at the rating, I was immediately concerned about the…

Great product! Exactly what I was looking for!

The Level Bolt is by far the best DIY smart lock I've searched for. Key Point: It doesn't change existing jigs, so you don't even have to change existing keys! You can't even tell from its looks that it's been upgraded to a smart lock. The level bolt itself was really well made and looked like a work of art. Installation was pretty easy, just like a regular deadbolt lock. It integrates seamlessly with Apple HomeKit via the Apple HomePod mini in my home. I wanted to emphasize this: Unlike many…

Great for guest access! Hidden design and no new keys required!

It's been a week since I installed Level Bolt (wanted to test it out before leaving a review) and it's been great! I've used other smart locks in the past but didn't like them due to various issues, so I figured I might as well try the Smart Lock level. I first heard about Level from a friend over a year ago and recently decided to try Level on my last remaining "dumb" lock. To maintain social distancing in light of Covid I have installed a level bolt at my side entrance at street level, the…

Bolt modifications

I've been watching the development of remote controlled bolts for a year. I chose Level Lock mainly for its aesthetics. I just don't like those drops hanging on the door inside or outside. The biggest downside is the price. They are slightly more expensive than blobs. They're easy to install, but keep a few things in mind. Use their website to ensure the lock will work with your existing deadbolt. We have an old bolt from Titan and Level said the Level Lock doesn't work with it. I bought from…

Get ready to defend yourself!

I understand tech support and am reviewing all possible scenarios to try and get the product working. That's why I was patient while dealing with The First Tech and didn't think too much about the incoming requests. Today, however, the feeling was very different. Before I go into that I would like to thank the two women I have been in contact with over the past three days, one I dealt with on day one and she was very empathetic and I felt good that she was trying to help . Last night I dealt…
