Impressed Electrical/IT Engineer.

I've had bad experiences with powerline adapters in the past. While this TL-PA9020 isn't the best in the TP-Link lineup, it consistently gets top marks. They typically achieve average throughput values, but are often cited as the best of the budget. In my experience, those are good things. They're faster than most people's internet connection for many reasons, even all sorts of wired foes of powerline adapters. ** Otherwise, the rest is for geeks who might be interested! Your cable TV wiring to connect. With decent satellite quality splitters, decent coax cable with quality connectors and an easily accessible input filter; You can easily reach Ethernet speeds around 1 gigabit. So I avoided powerline as MOCA is much better. And dreamed of remotely etherneting my house (if that sounds interesting, the adapters are competitively priced with powerline adapters and available from Revain. Just make sure you get MOCA 2.0 Bonded like mine or the newer 2.5- Buy version which is faster but primarily limited to a 1 gigabit ethernet connection I didn't have a good option to solve this problem so I thought I could try these guys I don't need much bandwidth As I only use one access point 802.11n I knew I had to go through separate circuits Even worse is jumping between two electrical phases and going through a GFCI jack, basically a bad scenario possible to my amazement i see a very stable throughput of 250mbps much faster than the wifi i use and most streaming devices need call me very nice!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Big and chunky
