Great option for network expansion.

You can combine several of these devices to reach anywhere in the house. only needs to be in one line connected to the same panel. not even the same chain. They are ideal for buildings with brick, stone or plaster walls or for bridging long distances. I've used this in several home and small business applications to extend the network into hard-to-reach places without having to knock down walls or crawl through the attic with new CAT6 wire. Sometimes you need to reset them, but far more rarely…

Impressed Electrical/IT Engineer.

I've had bad experiences with powerline adapters in the past. While this TL-PA9020 isn't the best in the TP-Link lineup, it consistently gets top marks. They typically achieve average throughput values, but are often cited as the best of the budget. In my experience, those are good things. They're faster than most people's internet connection for many reasons, even all sorts of wired foes of powerline adapters. ** Otherwise, the rest is for geeks who might be interested! Worked for me and works great

I read a number of reviews before purchasing. And of course I was skeptical because I claimed it didn't work and why. But I really needed something and the price was right so I decided to give it a try. I didn't lose much in trying it out, so I did a test on my internal network before connecting. Works easily 2-3 times faster than my Wi-Fi, so I disabled Wi-Fi on my computer. The outlets are about 40 feet apart, on the opposite side of the first floor, each about 10-20 feet from the electrical…

  • Good workmanship

  • Low repairability

, I used a second router configured as a wireless bridge to bring the network upstairs to where my desktop is. Latency was okay, but connection was erratic - on a good day, the connection would drop for a few seconds every few minutes. I bought a powerline adapter hoping to at least make my connection stable knowing I have an old house with old cables. and so far it has made a huge difference. I connected both and they connected within seconds. At first I was disappointed as pinging my router…

Worked great for me

I've heard these things either work or they don't. They worked for me. Setup was super easy. Connect one side to the router and the other side to the 4K TV. Boom, the streaming device is disconnected from my WiFi network. It is important to remember that you must insert the plug directly into the outlet. No more cheating by plugging into an extension cord. The two plugs were also fairly close together. I'm sure every mile will be different, but this is a great article to help keep chatty…

I would just trust them to be plugged into the same circuit.

I bought 4 of these to hook up 3 TVs in different rooms. Only the TV closest to my router on the same circuit had a stable connection. The rest drove everyone crazy because Netflix was only available occasionally. Fixing these problems is PITA, which involves running back and forth looking at LEDs that take forever to tell success or failure. I'll drop them and try ethernet over coax instead.

It works out. Qualities: Network adapter

The product is very easy to install and use. Make your own (mine only came with 1 cable), press the button on the side of each device and they should be ready to use. I was amazed by the possibilities that this product offers. Thought maybe I could use this to relay an internet signal to my power shed which is at the back of my property. Of course, the electrical panel is on one side of my 2600 SF ranch, and there is an additional 50 amp electrical panel on the opposite side of the house. From…

Great, but NOT if you use touch switch lamps in your home.

Works as advertised. Reduced network latency (ping time) by almost half compared to Wi-Fi on our son's Xbox, causing an online game to freeze and crash. However, a major downside is the occasional and quick turn on and off of the sensor lights in our house with this device. in use. We use several sensors with touch lamps and had to remove them when we started using this powerline adapter.
