Reliable Plex solution

I bought this NAS because I wanted a simpler Plex solution, a little easier to use. I use Plex for all my media, so this was my only goal. Before this NAS, I used a PC with a USB connected RAID box to store dee data. When I first opened the box (super well packed btw) my first thought was how solid it felt in my hands, not flimsy at all and like it was built with quality materials. My first upgrade was to install an additional 8GB RAM stick. *Tip: The manual for this NAS says 8GB RAM maximum, you can go beyond that, I'm working and the system recognizes 12GB. .So far 4K files are a little in the way, for example if I pause the movie and try to start it again in another room in my house it won't load and I have to restart the movie. I've bypassed my network ports and my house is hardwired to Cat5e, so the problem isn't bandwidth, it's the hard drives themselves. 1080p files and lower don't have this problem. It should be noted that if you want Plex to do hardware transcoding, it will require a Plex Pass. I didn't know anything about it. Overall I am very satisfied with this device. It fits my use case perfectly and I had no problem navigating the web interface.
