(EDIT) Make sure you use Broadcom drivers, awesome card!

(This review is for the Archer T6E/AC1300 PCIE card) Great card! Coming from the N600 Netgear USB dropping the connection despite being in range every few minutes and then throwing DNS errors, that was a huge improvement! I connected it to the motherboard, downloaded and installed the latest drivers. . Now you see. that's a problem. The 2016 drivers were extremely buggy, the card would randomly drop connection every few minutes, same as my Netgear. But after going back to the 2015 drivers (V1_151105) it was AWESOME. I play and stream HD content and it hasn't let me down so far, first day with it, will be edited later over time. EDIT 06/22/2018: To this day an absolute gem. The only problem I had was that Windows Update would crash the wireless card driver when loading a list of packages so large that Windows literally had a mild heart attack freezing the working wireless card driver and stopped. It was as simple as going to gpedit.msc and disabling Windows Update and the problem hasn't come back since. Update 10/13/2018: Still an absolute gem. I like it. Update 04/27/2019: I found that TP-Link drivers are unstable when loading large game files. It turns out that the T6E uses a Broadcom BCM4360 chip, and the actual drivers for the chip are much more stable, and with this driver, the range increases significantly. All you have to do is find the drivers, download the Windows 10 version and unzip the folder. After extracting the files, uninstall the AC1300 in Device Manager (perform an advanced uninstall to remove previous drivers), restart your computer and if the device shows up as an unknown device, scan for native drivers your computer and select the file. marked "64" in the unpacked Broadcom drivers. After that, you will really see a jump in download speed and a drop in ping. I just wish TP-Link could handle the drivers better.
