With design today gravitating towards minimal features, user interfaces and/or inexpensive manufacturing, the effort that goes into the design of these scales is refreshing. Protection, washable case, timer, color contrast display, solid resolution and range - this scale ticks all the boxes. and then some. Liquid volume units are thoughtful when odd (mL and g are equivalent, those who disagree with the metric may even find this oddity useful). While auto-off is a feature you'll find on many scales these days, the fancy timer feature adds to the complexity. This might be confusing for the less thoughtful engineer. Again, there's nothing to worry about as the scale stayed awake for the countdown timer and then, after a (thankfully less annoying) beep, started its normal auto-shutdown routine (2 minutes IIRC). The accuracy at 100g and 200g was perfect. . But I haven't discovered the calibration mode yet either, so if calibration is still needed I'm curious how to go about it. In summary, this is an amazing scale and at the time of review I only had two possible question marks: 1 . The maximum weight capacity is not on the scale label and here on the product page (3 kg / 6.6 lbs on the GG website)2. Calibration mode is missing and/or not documented
