I used this on our back fence which has a long, continuous run. Fairly long for this run, but I also have a short run (about 15 feet) from the end of the fence to the gate where I used my old lightbulbs. These LED lights are much dimmer than the old ones so fence lighting is not suitable but I can live with that. The real problems are related: I plugged it into an outlet controlled by a switch. When you enable them, their default setting is mixed mode, which cycles through all flash modes. I just need a stable one that you have to select manually with the remote control. The problem is that the remote has a range of about 2 feet. Why can't it remember the last mode used? Or do you have a better range on the remote control? I think they're coming back.
