Good quality and nice light

I love the soft, warm colors and the different modes, but it lacks instructions on how to use it. I was afraid the color would be too yellow but it's perfect. Good heavy quality.

Excellent light but the remote doesn't work

The remote doesn't work at all! Tried everything - battery checked, spacing correct etc. Light is fantastic but we're stuck in original mode which is very annoying.

Nice lights but too bright?

We are very happy with the look of the lights but they are LED and much lighter than traditional lights. Everything the wind blows throws them into the ditch, so we've actually had to get them out of the ditch twice.

Reset to default every time I turn it on

I have all my Christmas decorations on the same timer. Unfortunately, these lights reset to default Mode 1 every night. Mode 1 is similar to Demo mode, which cycles through all modes including Strobe mode, which induces seizures. Big regret.

It's split down the middle

If you're planning on starting out in a garage, don't buy these lights. Now I have to figure out how the hell I can turn it on in the middle of my house. Another thing is they complete their clutch fit, you can't connect anything else Chinese genius. generally they work.

Very short range remote control; defaults to mixed flash mode at power up; Look Dim

I used this on our back fence which has a long, continuous run. Fairly long for this run, but I also have a short run (about 15 feet) from the end of the fence to the gate where I used my old lightbulbs. These LED lights are much dimmer than the old ones so fence lighting is not suitable but I can live with that. The real problems are related: I plugged it into an outlet controlled by a switch. When you enable them, their default setting is mixed mode, which cycles through all flash modes. I…

Very nice icicle thread but crappy controller design

First impression is that the wires seem a bit flimsy. But that was in direct comparison to the more voracious old icicle lamps that simply needed thicker wires. After untangling the light garlands in the kit, which was no easy task, there were no complaints about the quality. The cables could have been a bit longer, but they allowed me to place the controller somewhere protected from the weather. The remote certainly isn't of the highest build quality, but it will come in handy and do the job…
