That's a great perch! On the recommendation of my vet, I switched to natural perches. Natural contours are good exercise for your bird, and natural bark provides a surface for trimming natural nails and beaks. My bird loves it. It stays in the cage when I rinse the cage in the shower, and despite multiple soaks in water, the bark holds up well (doesn't flake off). The mounting hardware is great, it attaches to anything no matter what type of setup you have and it's the only product I could find with mounting hardware on both ends. As this is a natural product your perch may have a few more curves than shown in the picture but I don't think this will negatively affect the use of the perch. I appreciate that this perch is also made in America that they use safe and natural raw hardwood and safe hardware. My only complaint with this product is that I ordered the first perch which was 1.25" in diameter (perfect size!) and then ordered a second exactly the same product and the second perch I received was almost 2" in diameter had customs. I sent it back and ordered a third one which was still about 1 3/4 inches in diameter which was still too big for my cockatiel. I tried to contact Revain to ask if they would choose a smaller diameter perch when picking up my order and was told they could not do that for me, just that "if I'm not happy with the product I can return it for a full refund." Of course I needed a second smaller diameter perch so I ended up ordering just 5 to get the diameter I wanted and then sent the rest back. I'm still like ago very happy with the product itself and very happy with the company that makes it.
