1440p 60 FPS on so called DVI-DL (Dual Link ONLY) QNIX Monitor

I chose this product out of 2 or 3 similar ones because another reviewer, Peter, said he had it with the infamous QNIX QX2710 LED to work, which the manufacturer says requires a dual-link DVI cable. I was also skeptical at first because it doesn't have an extra USB socket for the power supply. BUT I can now confirm that it works 100% with the following setup: Lenovo Thinkpad T460 this adapter SINGLE LINK DVI-D cable QNIX QX2710 LED I have my built-in Intel HD 530 graphics manager set the resolution to 1440p 60 FPS. I used to be limited to 1440p 40fps due to using a passive adapter. Also, my system failed to recognize the monitor after waking up from sleep. This adapter also fixed this problem. TL; DR This active adapter works. It gave me 1440p at 60Hz, fixed my monitor detection issue, and improved my skin, all for a fraction of the cost of active adapters that require USB power.
