The surface cleans up nicely with a moist towel. It is imperative that you take note that it does not wash but rather wipes, and it is strictly prohibited to add any kind of cleaning solution to the water tank. Since it does not pour water but rather wipes it with microfiber that has been soaked in water, even rigorous wet cleaning is not a problem for my parquet.
