The goods are normal, money is not wasted!
I was looking for a replacement for the dying 5.1 from Philips (he served for 10 years, and then the wires began to break, but they don’t sell new ones, only electrical tape to help, the capacitors boiled, well, at least you can change them). Of course, I did not expect that the sound would be the same, but I hoped that the difference would not be great. However, in fact, after 5.1, the difference in sound is simply colossal ! Therefore, I recommend all the same, if possible, save up for not the most expensive, but decent 5.1 sound. In fact, the sound from this speaker is not much different from the native sound of the TV if you listen to it at medium volume.
